Father's Day video

Because you loved me...

Sunday, June 19, 2011

For you my heart will forever be thankful...

"Watch it now."

"Because I said so."

"Get off the phone...I'm on call." (That was in the old days kids...long before call waiting.)

"Be careful where you step." (that could be advice given on life or when we were in the barn feeding cows...)

"Pull my finger." (mom's gonna love that I added that one..)

"Maria Hunt Mosby!!!" (yes my middle name is Hunt...)

"I love you."

Those were a few of the many famous quotes spoken by my Dad growing up. I still hear the last one everyday, and for that I am thankful...

It's very hard to put into words the Love that I have for my Dad, but I'll try...

Strong- I couldn't begin to tell you the strength he possesses within...he holds everything together.

Caring- I have never met a more caring soul...

Soft hearted- He may look mean, but trust me if you cry he will too...

He loves my Mom with all his heart.

He will swim to the end of the ocean and back for his girls and he loves his grandchildren like no other.

Dad, Thank you for all you are, thank you for loving me and Melissa everyday always...no matter what we went through you stood beside us hand in hand and said "we'll get through this."

And we did...

Thank you for teaching us to Love God with all our heart and to stand for those that had no one else to stand with them...

Your love and example in life has seen us through so much and for you our hearts will forever be thankful...Happy Fathers Day! I love you!!

Randomness...

Things have been really busy around here lately, The Salon is running wide open no slowing down in sight...I think most women will starve before they let their hair color go (no complaints here)

My sixteen year old son is running wide open since he got his license, and my mind has not rested since...if you have a child old enough to drive you understand if you don't you will soon enough...

Lots of Graduations Cassie is moving on to the 6th grade, and Chase will be going into the 9th grade so I will now have one in Middle School and 3 in High School (I am requesting prayer in advance...)

Cassie's first piano recital, she hit every note, the boys declined to show up for it because they said they had heard the song a gazillion times...they knew how it went already....

Garden time on Beech Grove Road and Husband and I got it all planted (except for peanuts...those go in the ground tomorrow..something new we are trying...) in one day
Cassie Marie painted markers so we would know what was where...the kid loves to paint!

So this post is to catch you up on whats been going on around here...and of coarse there are a few new pictures of Peyton too...

Shew!! That was alot of pictures!!

Blessings!
